The Doctor of Information Technology (DIT) is an intensive course of study that focuses on research with a doctoral level course work. The program culminates with the writing of a dissertation that embodies a significant contribution of new knowledge toward the improvement of professional and industry practice in Information Technology.
AMA’s Doctor of Information Technology program aims to produce globally competitive computer educators who will be professionally competent, morally upright, and socially responsible contributors to national development. Specifically, in three to five years after graduation, Doctor of Information Technology program alumni shall:
- have advanced their career as top level managers (executives) or leaders in the area of
- information technology for the advancement of society;
- continuously promote professionalism in the area of information technology; and
- have demonstrated global competitiveness by building on best practices in their field
