Public Administration (Non-Thesis)

The Master in Public Administration is designed to prepare current and future managers for careers, or advancement of careers in public, non-profit, environmental, healthcare, and e-community organizations. The program stresses the acquisition of academic theory and practical skills to foster an ethical and enduring commitment to the public service values of serving the public interest with accountability and transparency; serving professionally with competence, efficiency, and objectivity; acting ethically to uphold the public trust; and demonstrating respect, equity, and fairness in dealings with the public and fellow workers.

Masters in Public Administration program aims to produce globally competitive administrators who will be professionally competent, morally upright, and socially responsible contributors to national development.

Specifically, the program intends to produce graduates who will:

1. Assume leadership positions in public, nonprofit, and healthcare organizations

2. Advance the state knowledge in the field of public administration through scholarly and applied research and service to the profession

In 5-10 years the graduates of AMAES’ MPA typically qualify for employment in public, non-profit, environmental, healthcare, and e-community organizations. Some possible job areas in this field include:
